    Hi
    My little girl was slamming away on my laptop earlier and dont know what she done but its now like the number lock is permanently enabled. I can turn num lck off but cant type any numbers at all only the symbols corresponding to the number keys come up!
    Anyone know how I can fix this, I cant log into anything as my passwords are all numeric

    Sounds like a [shift] key is stuck.

    Sounds like sticky keys maybe enabled also.
    Try this
    Disable Sticky Keys on a Default Installation
    1. Press SHIFT 5 times consecutively. The StickyKeys box will pop up.

    2. Click Settings. Accessibility Options pops up.

    3. On the "Keyboard" tab click the "Settings" button in the "StickyKeys" section.

    4. Uncheck the items in this window and click OK.

    5. Click Apply and OK on Accessibility Options.
