gold hardware looks manky on most guitars IMHO
especially as it tarnishes and wears off
    also bigsbys rock :D
,just be sure to get a roller bridge so it stays in tune!

I always thought that about gold myself but with the wood I'm using I'm not too sure... Its got an old classy look off it so I was leaning towards the gold. I'll post a pic of the wood so ppl can get a better idea.

It depends on the finish of the instrument, some look well with gold hardware, some don't. I've got one bass with gold hardware and it looks great. I love it!

As for a Bigsby, make sure you get a proper Bigsby and not a licensed one. The cheaper ones use nylon bushings but the proper ones have bearings. Much better. :)
