printable instruction booklet for canon 400d

anyone got a printable ( preferably word version) of the instruction booklet for the canon 400D in english. just got my camera from komplett, but the instructions are all in either german and Dutch. I cant print the pdf i downloaded at work, and dont have a printer at home. I need an unprotected version of the booklet so as to print out.

I would be nearly 99.9% sure you wont find a word version of a manual. PDF is standard format for documentation on the web at this stage. Unless of course you can somehow convert the PDF you have into word format...

Or maybe even a good old copy and paste (using the select text tool?)

Personally I'd keep it on the pc - faster to search for a particular feature etc.

maybe stick the pdf on a usb memory stick or something and print it out at a local printers?

certainly, I will keep the pc version, but i like to have a paper version i can flick through when im reading in bed or out and about.

As you already know , the manual is online here , second from last ,

There shouldnt be any problem printing it , however its a secured file , and it cant be edited , any conversion program I have will not convert this file to any other format.

Why cant you print , I realise its a big file and such a large printout might get you in trouble at work , but is there any technical reason why you cant print ?

I'm puzzled .. why can't you print out the PDF version?

some pdf's will not allow you to print them - see the D300 and D3 manuals from Nikon.

Thats true ,but not this one , just tried it here at home , page 1 printed fine anyway

It does have a " copy " watermark across the page though. Its fairly transparent and doesnt get in the way of reading.

yea, we have a print queue server here at work and i think its blocking my printing of the document. Il get it done in a print shop, cant cost more then a tenner im thinking. Thanks folks.
