Lenght of time for clearance??

    It is an absolute disgrace the lenght of time for rorms tobe returned. Waiting since early october now? What is the big Delay??:mad:

    I had to wait 4 months before my application went through for the RDF.

    Just keep asking and you'll be fine.

    Yeah same here i went in on September 2006 and didn't get cleared until January 2007. It's just the way the RDF and PDF work i guess. But hey that's the army for you it' their way or the highway

    Big problem AFAIK is the guards, they take their time with the backround checks ,
    Once I got through that things picked up very fast.

    shur it took me four months of a wait to be discharged from my unit from the day i signed my discharge forms! why i don,t know???? when another lad i trained with got his discharge in a week from his unit when he left

    Its the same for everyone, ive seen the kids of seinor officers and gardai tke 4-5 months so you backround doesn't matter.
