how long to clear customs

    i have a package coming from the states and the tracking shows it in customs how long is it likely to be sitting there.

    i have a an post tracking number can i ring them and ask ???

    In my experience, it can take up to 3 weeks to clear customs. Ring the PO though and they might have more information.

    I had makeup items in customs and as soon as I sent in the cheque to pay the VAT, the goods were dispatched..took about 3 days.

    looking at the online tracking number its out for delivery so come monday or tuesday i'll now if i have to pay or not.

    it arrived along with a bill for 70 quid robbing barstewards

    the damm thing is faulty as well nothing is ever easy :(
