Dell Vostro and DLink DI514 Routher

I just got a Dell Vostro 1000 running Vista, I'm having a problem in that it keeps losing the connection to a DLink DI514 wireless router. When I first boot both the machine and the router the router is visible to the laptop, I can connect Ok. After about 3-4 minutes the connection is lost. The router is no longer available on the list of wireless access points. I need to reboot the router for it to appear again for another couple of minutes.

I've disabled all authentication and encryption on the router. I can connect without any problems to the same wireless router from another PC running XP and from my mobile phone.

    Any ideas?
