    Link here.

This is the upgraded version, with better built quality and more light
Custom built with LEDs rating 20,000 mcd
Best use for all Indoor and outdoor activities
    Durable waterproof aluminum body
Note: these are the "thicker" aluminum body ones. We no longer sell the cheap thin lights anymore. All 9-LEDs are the better construction one.

the base cap needs to be opened first before the head is removed when detaching the flashlights

Dealextreme is a reputable company right? I was thinking of buying some other stuff from them...

Shipping times can be ridiculous, but I've ordered a few things from them and had no problems. But I think the right tactic when ordering from them is to order then forget about it, nice surprise in a few weeks time when it arrives.

Lol - I might do that then :)

It is free shipping after all ;)

Just registered on the site - found out that they won't ship anything until after the Chinese New Year holidays are over - 15th Feb :(

Will just to wait a few more days then.

Have dealt with them a few times, pretty decent. :)

I bought a few of them last month - they take three AAA cells, and have to say they are very good. It doesn't feel right empty, but once you load three AAAs in it and close it, it feels solid and its very bright as well.

I've bought 8 of them :D They rock! Unbe-****in-lieveable for the money.
FWIW if you buy more than 3 (ie 3 two-packs) you get a slightly better price.
Shipping can take about 2 weeks-ish.
Now I need a source of cheap AAA batteries !

on the subject of DX flashlights, I highly HIGHLY recommend the following for a $10, beats any maglite I put it up against and is bloody brilliant for the price (so good I bought 3 more)
    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3607
    Runs off single AA battery.

Yeah I have that one as well, its brill for the price, easily the best torch I have owned. You need to use good batteries with it though, I used some 1.2v rechargeables with it that I had bought in ALDI and they were not up to the job, the torch would not always work when you clicked it on, but this was due to the batteries not the torch. I bought some GP Recyklo rechargeable batteries and they work excellent in it, you get about 1 hour fifteen minutes from a single AA. So all batteries are not equal just bear that in mind with some of these LED torches, if your batteries cannot hold a charge above 1.2v it may not work for you.

Great torch though and the beauty is you just need a single AA.

The Euro2 Shops are your friend for cheap batteries, 8xAAA for EUR 2.00......

Shops can be found here: http://www.eurogeneral.ie/retail/locator.htm

Thanks for the link. Bought them plus a few other things (XBox 360 battery charger, bluetooth dongle, multimeter and LED pig light!). All came to €22.50. Great site.

Buying anything over the value of 22 euro in a non-EU country will result in you being legally liable for customs tax and duties.

    Just thought you should know...

Of course if you could get them to ship it separately there shouldn't be a problem.

How long is the shipping time? Im guessing its from the US? If so, is there customs due on orders over a certain amount? (recently i had to pay 22 euro on an order of 57 euro from the US).

Edited: Ahhh I see I was just beaten to it in the post above, thanks thirdfox!

Shipped from Hong Kong from the looks of it. Looking at online reviews people say it may take up to two weeks and more.

I've bought loads of stuff from these guys and NEVER been stung for customs.
They generally write LED torch or something similar, without a value.

yeah they label it as a gift on customs form

still no harm to split orders to $20

Got the bike lights from them, but the rear one does not work at all. However, I'm not sending it back to be fixed due to postage costs.

They are extremely cheap to buy from though.

Prospective buyers should note that this is the Chinese New Year time and you can expect at least a months delay on orders.

There is also a massive freak snowstorm going through China right now and around 100 million people are affected. Over a million troops have been mobilised to clear snow, restore electricity but it will take a long time before things go back to normal.

(speaking as someone with family in the affected regions) :(
