Mods I think this is relevant to here but do what you think.

I think this is very relevant for anyone who has bought in the 30% back promotions in tesco which was widely discussed here on bargain alerts.

i called them a few weeks back and they verfied that my points were credited,
they said i will receive them in mid february

Points cannot be used without the your tesco card (presumably in case they go missing) so dont worry. I did not get mine yet ,usually middle of month.

Just spoken to them on the phone. They said to wait till next week.

Not really true as they can type your card number off the voucher ??

Is it possible to check your clubcard points balance on www.tesco.ie if you have signed up on that site ? I think that you sign up with your clubcard number ?

Be sure to disable the bit about getting notices of special offers and the like if you don't want it !!

You can check your balance here

I got my vouchers for a PS3 I bought over the Xmas!

Am gonna try and use them off the deals - http://www.tesco.ie/clubcarddeals/

This would mean that the PS3 would have paid for itself

It's a pity there's not a huge amount of things to buy in those offers.

The point of my original post seems to have been lost here. I was trying to warn people, not of their vouchers getting lost or delayed in the post, but of not getting the EXTRA points on the promotion weekends. My original point was I got normal points for a 179 euro PSP which is worth €1.79. I should have got 30% of the €179 back in vouchers. This is worth 60 quid. Quite a difference.

I got my vouchers... i did not buy any expensive hardware, but i did just get €111 in vouchers? Maybe it was the alcohol over Christmas or something

I think its very clear. It was a 30% back weekend where I did not get 30% back. I posted in consumer issues and then also in bargain alerts, referring people to the consumer issues post. This was because it is really a consumer issue, but I remember is was all over bargain alerts at the time. It is definately possible some other posters may get short changed like I did.

Pity the magazine selection is cr@p as I would've got a years subscription to somethin!
