Mid 80s series set in London office...

...think it had a few well known people like Nickolas Grace and Patricia Hodge. Unfortunately I have googled both and can't find anything, so I stress its actors like them. It was a drama, think it could have been in an ad agency but not sure. It was all power suits and satin blouses. Anyone think of it?

it might be worth having a look at imdb for this - they
seems to have details for all the uk tv productions
    for the 80s

That where I looked under those actors, but couldn't find anything. There was someone else who looked like Grace...maybe I'll try Nigel Havers...

There are two series that I can recall in London buisiness one was Chancer but that was 1990/91 with Clive Owen and another which I cant recall any details about. Patricia Hodge starred in Jemima Shore Investigates in the early-mid 80s.

The other series was called Capital City (all glass towers and furrowed brows)

    Thanks for the suggestions.

It wasn't the first two anyway.

Capital City sounded promising, particularly when you said about glass towers, but don't think its that either.

I know you said it was mid 80's but could it possibly be "This Life" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115390/
    it sounds kind of similar

Wonder how one would get a clip of capital city to check.

Definitely not This Life, that was the mid 90s.

    Eureka!

    Whew!

The actor was Jeremy Clyde. He was in a few series like William Tell and Crossbow (I spent ages checking through every Robin of Sherwood site when it dawned on me that he was in some swords and sandals series). Here he is...

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/southerncounties/content/images/2005/09/07/jeremy_clyde_150_150x180.jpg

The programme itself was called 'Campaign' and it ran for only 6 episodes.

    Now to dig up clips...

Thanks for all the help. For some reason I had Nickolas Grace in the head when it was Jeremy Clyde all along.
