    hi all, i have the hdmi cable now for ages for the ps3 and i some how managed to lose the RGB cable that came with it. will the ps2 RGB work on the ps3 cause i cant play it durin the week as im up in college during the week and dont have a hd tv up here!! :mad:thanks in advance

    no, i remember a while back i connected the ps2 cable to the ps3 and it was a perfect fit, just didn't hook it up to the tv to ee if it worked! thanks for replying:)

    Wait, are you getting confused with the AV cable/Scart adapter thing you get with the PS3? You said hdmi but you do not get that with a PS3 and its a different connector and does not need the av cables...

    I use the RGB SCART cable I bought for my PS2 with my PS3. They are the same. Works fine.

    [edit] On second reading, I think you're confused. The PS3 comes with a composite plus 2 audio cable (red, white and yellow RCA connectors) NOT an RGB SCART cable. Either way, the composite cable from your PS2 will also work with your PS3.

    thanks cardinal, thats what i wanted to know, didnt wanna bother driving 30 miles to get it of my cous if it didnt work, no i bought the hdmi cable seperate.
