    Hello,

Where are the best shops for snorkel/scuba gear in Dublin,

and are there any recommended websites for good value gear?

Regarding the Aldi / Lidl scuba special days? When do they usually occur and any comments on the quality of gear?

Anyone with answers thank you for your time.

If it's snorkelling, the Lidl gear is grand. It's usually May ish when it comes out if memory serves.
Other than that, you have plenty of dive shops around dublin.
    Great Outdors in town.
    Flagship in ringsend.
And one in Dun Laoghaire who's name escapes me :)

BTW: Firststage Diving in Dunshaughlin has closed shop and is not running courses anymore.

If you know anybody heading London way, ask them to go to 'Decathlon' for you - huge range of great value sports goods and snorkelling stuff in particular well-served. (tube Canada Water).

    Pity they ain't in Ireland.
