Diplexer question

A situation where there is only one coax available
If combiner/diplexer are used to combine then seperate fm, sat and tv, can these be used on one outlet from a 4 way distribution amplifier. Would there be any problems?

    Thanks for any advice.

You can get a TV / Sat diplexer..
and a separate VHF/UHF diplexer to feed the TV connection on the 950Mhz sat Diplexer.

but you CAN NOT feed sat through an ordinary distribution amp, you need another sat diplexer the other way round to split the signals apart again.

There ARE satellite distribution amplfiers, but each satellite received needs 4 coax from Quattro LNB and a quad 950Mhz to 2200Mhz high power satellite signal amplifier, that usually feeds splitters to Satellite Multiswitches.

    Thanks for that Watty,

What I want to do is combine the sat signal with only one output from the 4way distribution amp. I don't want to feed the sat signal through the input of the distribution amp (because of the lnb switching voltage etc)
Only want the sat in one room, but have only one cable supplying that room and I don't want to have the sat cable running down the outside of the house, hence the need to diplex and seperate the signals on one of the four outputs of the dist amp.
I am just afraid to try this, in case of some feedback or something else going wrong.

    Cheers.

Simply use an SAT/TV diplexer with blocked power at the TV leg.
At the other end use an matching wall plate or an matching di/triplexer to seperate the signals.

"Simply use an SAT/TV diplexer with blocked power at the TV leg"

When you say blocked power at the tv leg, do you mean there is an option on some diplexers. I have seen some advertised with provision to pass a DC supply to a masthead amplifier.
Therefore do I get one with no provision/switchable to pass a DC supply . Finally will there be any loss of signal when these are used either triplexed or diplexed (TV, Sat & or FM/DAB)
Thanks for the advice, I have done all my standard sat/tv/radio work etc, but have not used these di/triplexers before,
