Timber Tramps...best live gig EVER!

06-02-2008 8:54pm#1Was at the Saw Doctors in Castlebar on New Year's Eve, and saw this crazy but brilliant band, the Timber Tramps, supporting them...turns out they're Galway-based and play a regular gig in Neachtains every second Sunday night. Definitely worth checking out.

Don't see why this was moved from Galway, but anyway... They're based in Tuam. Noelie McDonnell on guitar, Mousie McHuge on vocals there, I think that was Noelie's bandmate Orlagh De Bhaldraithe on vocals on I Will Survive, i'm not sure. They play fairly regularly in The Brogue in Tuam, sometimes on random Monday nights
Always get a great crowd though, great craic to watch them jam on for a few hours. 0
