Does anyone have any idea of what alloys would fit my chevette,or what can be got,im just wondering, because everybody seems to have done the superlight thing and as the car is completly standard and original i just want to jazz it up with some wheels as the original steelies are just not cutting it,nothing very wide though,id like to keep them under the arches.thanks in advance for any advice.:)

All I can suggest is that you try pretty much any wheel from a RWD Opel. They should have the same bolt hole PCD and sufficient offset. Do NOT use wheels from a front wheel drive Opel/Vauxhall as the have a completely different offset, different in fact to most other front wheel drive cars !

    Manta wheels ?

Thanks for that mercmad,i did put wheels off an astra GTE on awhile back to see how it would look, it looked great standing still, couldnt drive it though because of the arch rubbing:o

My mate's brother had a Chevette back in the 80's and he put a set of BMW steelies on it. I think they were off an E30 or the previous 3 series.

Wheels off the earlier BMW 2002 will also fit. I have wheels off a Chevette on my bmw 2002

I suppose they would be all 14inch or bigger?

Yeah, the E30 wheels would all be at least 14". Not sure about the wheel size on the previous E23(?) series though. I'd say it would be hard to find 13" alloys from that era. Would MkII Escort wheels fit?

I think the bolt pattern is different:(, if they did id have a huge choice of wheels!!revolution 4 spokes always look good under an escort!
