is Andy Lee the busiest "contender" in boxing?

Feb 2 - beats Alejandro Gustavo Falliga

Feb 29 - scheduled against a yet unnamed fighter in Michigan

    March 21 - Brian Vera

    April 10 - Willie Gibbs

May - returns to fight in Limerick, Ireland

    June - Winky Wright

    November - Pavlik or Duddy

Jesus I didnt realise it was that congested! Was at his fight last sat, great occasion, very enjoyable and would definately go again as the atmosphere for him was superb.

Considering Lee hasn't been a pro that long this is the right way to bring him up . It was the way Tyson was brought up and the only real problem is watching for fatigue .

If the fight with Winky right does go ahead(and being very presumptious assuming Andy wins) then no one will be able to see Andy didn't deserve a title shot should the Pavlik bout happen before the end of the year .

didnt know there was talks of him fighting winky,
how definite is this to go ahead, have they been in negotiations or has it just been thrown out there as a possibility?

It's a possibility ,the only definite fight right now is the Brian Vera one(a positive step imo) .

We caught up with Mr. Lee to get his thoughts on being compared with James Brown.

JP: Andy, how do you feel being compared with such a legendary icon?
    AL: I feel good.

JP: Excellent, congrats on another win, most predicted a lee points victory, and were surprised you knocked him out, your thoughts?
AL: I knew that I would

JP: We see great comraderie in boxing. you spoke with Falliga after the bout, how did he seem?
AL: We spoke briefly, he was quite shook and in a cold sweat

JP: Your KO of former world champ Carl Daniels last year was awesome, how do you train to get your shots so precise?
AL: Its a shot we have been working on for some time, keep practicing and doin it to death, then in the ring you just get on the good foot, and think: I got you , and that was it, of course when you KO a guy you always think please please please let him be ok, he recovered fine and is back winning again

JP:As they say "this game is no ballet"
AL: thats for sure, its a mans world

JP: If i may make a personal comment...?
    AL: Try me

JP: your replies are cheesier than a block of kilmeadin
AL: I know, i cant stand myself

JP:Not to worry, they are kinda bad though...
    AL: super bad

JP: Ok dude, time to give it up or turn loose
AL; ok ill stop now, its getting too funky in here

JP: Back to your training, now that you re living in America, how is that going?
AL: great, ive progressed alot since going over and we are always keeping things fresh, Mannys got a brand new bag of tricks in preperation for the upcoming bouts.

JP: are you looking forward to fighting so regularly?
AL: Absolutely, we see it as a good move and i got the feeling its gonna be a good year

JP: speaking of upcoming fights, there is talk of you fighting future hall of famer winky wright, how do you feel sharing the ring with a fighter of this caliber?
AL:Confident, he has great credentials, an excellent defence but against me, winky would be going to sleep on the night train and waking up in destination canvas city... Im the boss.

JP: Good to hear it, well best of luck in your career, thank for your time:
    AL: Thank you

so for the people who are wondering, the highlighted text indicates a James Brown Song...
    ... I couldnt resist :D
