Can i wax down there?

Hey, dunno where to put this but im a guy and want to know is there a wax out there that can be used on, well u know down there. Im sick of shaving it, looked in boots etc and all wax's say is "not to be used on genitals etc" Can anybody help? Cheers.

Yup you can of course.... Urban Wax are just around by St Stephens Green SC and they do male waxing... they have a website http://www.urbanwax.ie/ and they are excellent!! Have used them for brazilians for myself, painful, but worth it.

Check out the golden pages and ring a few beauty salons, ur sure to find one that'll do it. Some that don't will probably be able to point you in the direction of one that does. Just don't do it yourself!! Waxing takes a bit of practice and it's sore enough on legs, a DIY male brazillian sounds like a recipe for disaster. :eek: After going to have it done professionally a few times, ask the beautician for tips for doing it yourself at home, and what wax they would recommend.

OP you obviously have your own reasons for doing it but I'd echo other people in saying DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF!! Most girls don't do their own bikini lines and there's a good reason for it! Don't be embarrassed to go into a beauy salon, they've seen everything.

I've actually been thinking about waxing down there, I imagine it would be painful no matter which gender you are, the whole burning hairs off seems much easier. I wish I could just either rub a cream on that wouldn't burn my skin off or have it lasered off or something..

Yeah, great thread Selkies, you could try a depilatory cream, like Immac (I think it's now called Veet). The problems with depilatory creams are (a) they may not be strong enough to dissolve your hair if you've got very dark, coarse hair (sorry, this is suddenly starting to sound really gross...!) and (b) they re-growth starts much sooner than waxing. But you could give it a try for the sake of experimentation, the only thing you have to fear is itchy re-growth!

Must try that, I tried a cream recently and it just burned for ages...
I'm never patient enough to try it first and was in pain for ages.

Don't use de-epilatory cream down there!!!! I used that stuff on my legs and had a horrible allergic reaction, it was bad enough on my legs, I can't even imagine how bad it would be down there. And re-growth is bound to be uncomfortable, it'll grown back like the stubble on your face.....not cool.

Really I think you'd be mad to do it yourself, go to a professional, at least for the first few times. As has been said, they've seen it all before.

Edit: You could look into getting Laser hair removal, but in fairness would you really want to be bald down there for the rest of your life? Also it would probably take more than one session to get it all off, and Laser is expensive. TBH, I don't even know if there's a place that will laser off all your hair, they may do bikini line, but not sure about anything else.
