    Hi there,

I am building a test rig and need to procure a flow meter. I need a flow meter that has a range of about 0 - 100 l/min of water. also would need an operating pressure of up to 5 bar.

Anybody have any idea where i can get some quotes for these? I have looked at radionics.ie but cant find anywhere else online...

    thanks..

I'm not sure whether your looking to make up something or buy something off the shelf.. One way of doing it is to place a small restriction in the pipe then measure the pressure across it with a Detla pressure Cell.

The pressure drop across the restriction should be proportional to the flow rate :D

I think you can buy the Delta pressure based ones off the shelf, which will give say a 4->20mA output. There's also some sort of magnetic way of measuring
    flow too...

I haven't a clue where you would buy either in ireland, its 10 years since in worked in the controls area. I would guess some of the companies that supply plant and control systems would be your best bet.
