Do you or could you find the time to make a journey from Carlow to The Inistioge Puppyrescue?

I belong to a network of volunteers who take dogs from Dunboyne Pound (South Dublin pound) in Meath and transport them to various rescues around the country.

At the moment we are very stuck for poeple to do the last leg of the journey from Carlow to Inistioge (1 hr). The transport generally arrives in Carlow at 6pm Tuesdays and Thursdays although it can be different days. There's also usually a Saturday transport although this goes at an earlier time. We supply crates for the dogs and there could be anything from 1 - 4 dogs, sometimes more if there's small puppies. At the moment we are so short of volunteers that we have to employ a pet taxi to complete this lifesaving journey and as we are all just volunteers and not funded in anyway coming up with the money is a strain on us all.

If you think you can help, are not too car proud and love dogs then please reply here or PM me for more details.

    Thanks.
