Samsung R20 Mod2 Had to cancel my order with Dell because I need a laptop by the tenth as a present. Harvey Norman have this one at €599 with 80GB hard drive. It has Intel Core processor. Is it any use? The person I'm getting it for would use it for the net (no broadband in their area so dial up) and storing pictures.

Check to see if it has a dial-up modem built in, if not you'll have to buy a usb dial-up modem.
