I've been informed today that the deadline for submission of all documentation requested by the IAAA is March at the latest.
With this in mind I am calling for and urgant response from the colleges who as yet remain unrepresented on the constitution workgroup.(I hope you know who you all are)
As a result of the looming deadline I would also like people to post their suggestions regarding the running of the association in this thread. (Only constitutional suggestions, the "IV rules workgroup" might set up their own tread).
Suggestions regarding representation, membership, officer positions and elections, and a date for an EGM to ratify the decisions of the two workgroups would be much apreciated.
Finally a very short meeting of the constitutional workgroup is needed in Carlow(5 min during a break)
    Thanks,
    James Ryan

From seeing commetties of various forms crumble in the past (not archery related, other stuff) I reckon the most dangerous things for a commettiee are:

    1. Too many members

    2. The power of veto

    3. Weak chairperson

With that in mind, I would suggest that first, ye keep it to a maximum of two per club (which ye have done).

Second, never insist that a motion must be passed by unamious decision. Generally a majority is all thats needed and if there is a truely critical decision then a 2/3 majority.

Third, ye're grand - Harry can keep control I'm sure.

From experience another serious problem is people who are not interested in the committee being part of it for names sake etc.

Not got much of a suggestion but more somthing to keep an eye out for as these people can actually hinder a group rather then help.
