Where's the web page that equates GPA to the traditional Honours scoring system? I know a first is 3.68 or higher, but where exactly does it say it on the net? If anyone could help, that'd be great.

Being in the Gaelic Players Assocation is no honour :D

Here you go. I got it off a Boards thread ages ago, don't know where you'd find it on UCD's website.

    Degree Award Grade Point Average
First degree need: 3.68 or higher
    2:1 degree need: 3.08 to 3.67
    2:2 degree need: 2.48 to 3.07
Pass degree need: 2.00 to 2.47

Grade / GPA / Percentage Values
    A+ / 4.2 / 85% or higher
    A / 4.0 / 75 to 85%
    A- / 3.8 / 70 to 74%
    B+ / 3.6 / 66 to 69%
    B / 3.4 / 63 to 65%
    B- / 3.2 / 60 to 62%
    C+ / 3.0 / 56 to 59%
    C / 2.8 / 53 to 55%
    C- / 2.6 / 50 to 52%
    D+ / 2.4 / 46 to 49%
    D / 2.2 / 43 to 45%
    D- / 2.0 / 40 to 42%

    Roughly translated an A (any A) is a first, B's give a 2:1, C's give a 2:2 and D's give a Pass degree.

I might be wrong, but is an A+ not 76.67% or higher?

Well I would like to hope your right there, this is just the grading system that I was given

You'd have to wonder whether everyone who grades exams in UCD is familiar with this given how much conflicting information is flying about. These policies are lying around in drafts and final copies and revisions and revisions of the revisions all over the UCD website. Would it be too much to ask that they make a definitive webpage or booklet that tells students what's what? The mind boggles.

You're right. A+ is 76.67% or above. Its on page 2 of the document that nellybelly listed.
