    Overrated or underrated??? I still cant make my mind up.

    One thing is for sure that they are quite insular with regards who they fight.

    Underated up to Bantamweight , above that overated .

    Bantamweight and below Japanese title level = World Class

    You will find good Japanese fighters from Super-Bantamweight to Light-Welterweight but in the main these guys are at about European level .

    I wish they'd fight outside Japan a little more and also if they fought for IBF titles(Japanese sanctioning body doesn't recognize IBF , or WBO I think) .
    In a way it's a good thing but mainly it just stops Japanese fighters fighting some other top fighters .
