For Sale signs on cars

Does anyone else notice how many cars have a "For Sale" and a mobile number printed on an A4 sheet stuck to the side window at the back of the car.

The cars involved always seem to be boy racer cars. Would many cars be sold in this way? There is no other information given apart from the mobile no.

More common round here are the proper stickers with "For Sale" and a mobile. There was a rumour doing the rounds that it's to allow people interested in street racing to contact each other but I don't know if it's true or not. Would certainly fit the profile of the cars the stickers are on though.

That could well be what it is.

The car park in the Maudlins Industrial Estate Naas is like a car dealership on teh weekend with all the dealing of selling cars going on.

Cars are advertised on the car park during the week and sold off at the weekend
