O2 - What Can You Do?

Right, long story short, I've got a recruitment/assessment/interview evening with O2 coming up for a part-time job. My main question is; What to wear to something like this? I'm doubting a suit, but maybe a suit minus the tie would look classy + casual? Otherwise its a shirt and slacks...

Part time job. Just wear a shirt, tie and trousers and you'll be fine !

Personally, I always wear a suit, or at the very very very least, business casual.

What do the people in O2 wear? thats usually a good indication of what might be appropriate.

Blue shirt, a tie, smart trousers and nice shoes will do you fine, thats O2 all the way.

From personal experience - the standard of dress in O2 varies. It can range from "suited & booted" to "t-shirt & tatts".

OP - If you are serious about getting this job then wear a suit.

    Thanks for the replies lads.

I'd say I'll go with a suit but won't wear a tie. Might just get the balance between smart and casual right.

When it comes to an interview there is no balance, either you really want the job and therefore go to the bother of presenting yourself well i.e. suit and tie. Or you don't and you go for a semi-casual look.

That's just my opinion, but when I'm interviewing people their personal appearance always comes into the equation and I would expect them to be in a suit and tie if they were really interested.

Iago is right. Suit & no tie is half-finished appearance that suggests to me a half-assed attitude to the interview & job.

Points taken lads. In fairness its not an awful lot of extra effort to wear a tie.

I'll let you know how it goes.
