A long sleeved top under a short sleeved one can look ok on girls sometimes but any shirt worn inside a t shirt sounds very wrong.

I occasionally wear a long sleeve t-shirt under a short sleeve casual shirt. Both are black and I think it looks good. Is the OP's boyfriend a bit confused about what goes over what ?

I wouldn't normally make such a sweeping statement, but your boyfriend is a moron. It's not a "look". It's like wearing your kaks over your trousers.

Long sleeve over short sleeve = ok
Short sleeve over long sleeve = no

you can but t shirts now with a fake seam to make it look like you have two t shirts on. But all the cool people do it.

Its seems a bit american, surfer dude to me. Put on a ropey shirt a pair of jeans hit the boozer and get sozzled. Perfect night out. NO posing.

Are we talking about a shirt, as in shirt and tie type shirt ? Or a t-shirt going over a long sleeved top lets say a band t-shirt ?

I sometimes wear t-shirt if it has a cool design on it over a band t-shirt with designs on the arms.

a shirt under a tshirt looks so awful, it doesn't seem comfortable either

A nice t-shirt over a short sleeve shirt is ok, as long as colours match but its a bit dated.

What kind of T-shirt and blouse did you use?

I think it looks good on girls!! but the t-shirt should be a v-neck.

Maybe if you bought him a jumper to wear over his shirt? It's worth a try. Or as has been mentioned, dump him:D

But then he might wear the t-shirt over the jumper.

Oh God, or the shirt over the jumper. If this boy has confusion about what order clothes are worn in anything could happen. Throwing a jumper into the mix would only confuse the issue.

OP how old is this person, if he is anything over fourteen he either needs some fundamental dressing lessons, like in playschool when they show you how to do laces and zips, or you need a new bf with better taste.

Now now, let's not get personal by disparaging the boyfriend entirely just because he has bad taste.

He could well have a massive willy in his favour.
