Percolation test query

We're looking to get our plans in by end of February, getting a friend who works in the industry to submit them for us, they're pretty much done at this stage.

There is another application for a house right next to ours going in in the next week, so it's on the same 1 1/2 acre site directly next to it. My question is, a percolation test was done on this other site and was fine. Do we need to get a test done on our site also or will the results of the first test do? (We would have access to any results etc, it's a family member) The person doing up our plans seems to think it would be fine but we would prefer not to take the chance of possibly having permission refused on this basis and having to wait and apply again.

I've a feeling we will need to get a separate test done but if anyone knows for sure that would be great thanks.

Each site must have its own assessment carried out.
