Do the Irish get drunk and start fights?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

From what I remember it is generally considered an English resort over there, I'd say the percentage of Brit idiots that start fights over nationality is probably in or around the same percentage as the Irish idiots.

spent a night in magaluf when i stayed in a neighbouring resort a few years ago, was a mix of both english and irish themed/owned bars and holiday makers generally most got on with each other, although did witness fights most nights, although the nationalities were fighting more amoungst them self than against against each other

Stayed in Porto Nova (which is beside Magaluf) a fair few years ago and went to Magaluf for a few nights and tbh had great craic there. Didn't notice any grief above and beyond any resort I have been to.

I'm talking about 6 years ago now, but I went to Magaluf for a week to stay with my mate who was a club rep there (we're both English by the way). General feeling was that Magaluf had mainly British tourists, and neighbouring Santa Ponsa had mainly Irish tourists.

That said, we spent two nights out in Santa Ponsa with a couple of Irish lads and had a whale of a time with them - better than we did in Magaluf with the English lads.

Bottom line, I think folk go on holiday for a good time at that's it. :)

I remember going to Ibiza before it became popular with the Irish, at time of booking the guy said, oh wouldn't go there full of English, best two weeks of my life,no trouble, English could not have been more friendly, got to know loads of people, found the same thing in Magaluf, we were in Santa Ponsa and spent a couple of nights in Magaluf, much better time than in Santa Ponsa, don't believe everything you read. You will get good and bad people, Irish no different.
