We return to Traffic this Thursday for a one night stand - no questions asked. Swinging in to town for a very special set underneath the EC sheets will be Berlin house groover Phonique. This will be his first time in Dublin so expect his cherry to burst with some deep luscious house music and some minimal love bombs (Valentines Day not until next week - Viagra Ed.). Since his first two EPs were released on Martin Landsky's Intim Recordings, Phonique has released on labels like Komfort Musik, Seasons, Brique Rouge, Cocoon, and Crosstown Rebels but mainly on Steve Bug's own Poker Flat and Dessous label. His biggest track to date was his second EP on Dessous 'The Red Dress'. This homage to Kelly LeBrock climbed on top of the official German Club Chart (no ****? Too-many-charts-in-this-world Ed) and was played by everyone from Pete Tong to Mick Wong who broke the track in the Ballyfermot & Neilstown areas while on his deliveries. Phonique DJ's with good auld vinyl (get in there mein Sohn! - Luddite Ed) some alright CDs and he also edits tracks exclusively for his sets so remember where you heard that first (Lost in Middle Abbey Street Dub - Parochial Ed).
