    Hi

Want to buy a laptop so the Mrs can make use of her sister's wifi, as we don't have a landline.

Just need something for general surfing, occassional upload of photos, download of music. Don't need loads of memory as anything downloaded will be transferred to her desktop PC.

Any recommendations, and guide prices please?

I've no personal experience of them (bar having seen someone use one - Mmmmmmm, tasty :)) but the world and it's techies are very enamoured of the Asus Eee PC.

Teeny-tiny, remarkably cheap, and perfectly suited to not-overly-heavy use, from what I've heard.
