How to transfer contacts?

Scenario: 2 Nokia phones (models unknown), the old one (simm card is decommissioned) has loads of contacts that the owner would like to transfer to the new phone. How to?

Bluetooth, if available.
Infra-red, if available.
Copy to SIM, transfer SIM, copy off SIM in other phone.

You set up an account & use GPRS to update from phone to web, then from web to new phone.
