SMART Broadband in Drogheda?

    Hi,
    Hopefully moving to Deepforde, Dublin Rd in Drogheda shortly and according to the government website, www.broadband.gov.ie Smart Telecom broadband is available there but cant seem to get any confirmation of this anywhere.
    Does anybody know if it is

    According to the line checker on Smart's website its not available in the DROGHEDA exchange. And assuming there is only the 1 exchange for Drogheda then it wont be available.

    Smart Broadband are nowhere near Drogheda. And Deepforde is served by an RSU, so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon in Deepforde.

    It's a Remote Subscriber Unit. It's basically a mini exchange which handles all the lines in the immediate area and sends them to the main exchange using fibre. Deepforde is served by one of these, and it's fed by fibre from the engineering headquarters in the donore industrial estate I think.

    Be thankful that it even has eircom broadband in it, most of them don't. :(
