Air Rifle Advice Needed

    Hi All,
I have a legally owned Weihrauch Air Rifle. It gets loads of use but over the last four years has lost a lot of it's oomph (lower velocity, energy). When new it was developing just under 16ft/lb at the muzzle, now it is just under 12 with the same ammo.
Went to a well known dealer to enquire about a V-mach tuning kit & spring, he told me the best thing to do was just trade up & buy a new model. Yet every internet reference is very positive and the kit should cost less than 100 euro.
Question 1; Has anyone gotten a Vmach kit here in Ireland and if so where?
Question 2; Was it any good?
Question 3; Was it easily fitted?
Question 4; If not available here, what is the process for importing one. The kit is comprised of a spring and some washers - does it need an import permit?
    The rifle is a HW97k

    All advice welcome

got a v-mach kit last year for a weihrauch breakbarrel was very powerful indeed probably double the power , the downside is with a more powerful spring , the recoil goes up . price is a lot less than 100euro and they will post it over , they will require a few details of your licence , the best thing about the kit is the piston seal , a lot more efficient than the weihrauch one , didn't measure the power but was told it should run at 20-24ft/lbs dep on pellet youll see the difference immediately
