Just wondering if anyone has purchased and imported a CARADA PJ Screen from the US ? If yes, was there any additional customs charges on import on top of the screen and shipping price ?

    Eddie,

Just wondering what has attracted you to the CARADA Screen. Have you seen one in action.

With the price of these screens and the cost of shipping/customs, you'd get a similar screen in Irl / UK for a better price?

Lots of good reviews on the web, and from anyone I have seen posting about them on boards or avforums, plus a favourable exchange rate !!! Decision not made 100% yet, am just doing some research and was wondering would I also get stung by customs.

Hi I am looking at bringing one in from the uk either a 108" or 120" may not be a Carda though.
Pm me if interested we could save a bit on delivery

Thanks for the offer, however am really leaning towards the Carada screen at this point. Have sent them details of my room set-up and what I am after, they are due to get back to me today with some information.

I got a Criterion 106" about 2 years ago. Find it very good, comparable to Steward Screens. Had no issues with it, lovely finish, and completley wrinkle free. With exchange rates so good might be a worthwhile consideration...

Thanks Jason, do you recall how much it cost you, and what you had to pay on import duties/taxes?

The whole thing cost a little over €500 at the time, but I didn't have to pay shipping / related charges as a friend who manages one of the big delivery companies done me a favour by bringing it in.
