... the Worm, that is... :p

sorry, couldn't help myself.

anyway, was talking on another board about old games and stuff, and i mentioned Willy the Worm, a game i used to play on the old computer my dad had, it was all dos (i think. im a bit of a tech idiot, but that's what i think it's called).

someone posted this link, so i could download the game...
http://www.nogamelinksplease:o)

i got ridiculously excited about this, and went to play it immediately, only to find that it was all playing on hyperspeed. so the dude had posted another link http://www.dosbox.com/ saying i should be able to get it running if i used that.

i have no idea what to do. i downloaded the second one, and tried to open the game with that... but couldn't get it at all.

any help anyone?

and please remember... i know nothing of the crunch technology.

Hi Crumble Froo,

I can relieve your Willy problem....
1. Unzip Willy_the_Worm.zip to a directory (For this example I will use C:/willy)
2. Run DosBox
3. At the command prompt, type mount c c:/willy and press enter
4. Type c: and press enter
5. After that, type willy and press enter

You should now be able to play with your willy.

Regards,

phillo
