I don't know what you mean by best, do you mean best for the skin or just best smelling?.

I know the chicks all love..
    Armani Mania or Channel Allure.

Both do very weird things to the missus....

    Fahrenheit by Dior. Mmmmmm!

But whatever you do stay away from Joop! and Jean Paul Gaultier.
They are nice but because of this I think every other man must own a bottle of them! Ten a penny! And when you smell it so often....it starts smelling cheap!

I posted a similar thread before xmas. I tried out the below on lady friends.

    I tried:

    Unforgiveable by Sean John

Light blue pour homme by Dolce & Gabanna

    Code by Armani

    Chanel Alure sport pour homme

Armani Code was the winner outright. I bought it and really like it.

Which ever one you buy, be sure to ask for some testers off the perfume lady ,
these are small little bottles that are given out as samples, very handy on a long night out to freshen up.

There is no "best". There's so many out there and personal preference has alot to do with it. In my current rotation are Armani Code, Mugler Cologne and Rive Gauche, with Body Kouros, Opium and Dunhill Edition still making regular appearances.

Yes it's very fruity, a real "continental" cologne, not really suitable for our
northern european climate. These types of mediterranian fragrances just don't work in cold and damp surroundings.

We would probably love it if we lived in Tuscany or Barcelona :)
