What a ledge this guy is! Anyone who is into the custom firmware scene has most certainly heard his name come up !

But anyways , there is one thing i can't figure out..... why the hell haven't sony hired him? The guy is obviously a genius developer for the psp but more importantly for them it would hit the custom firmware community hard. I'd reckon so hard that it wouldn't be able to re-cover . Didn't sony ever here the saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer"!!


I really hope this doesn't happen, but i can't figure out why it hasn't

I think it would probably encourage others to take his place looking for a job. It happened to the lad that cracked the DVD encryption, but it wasn't such an obvious "company v's individual" type thing. Same thing with the guy who made dvd shrink (he works for Nero now). Again though, not such an obvious "company v's individual" type thing.

Also, they've threatened him legally....maybe he just doesn't want to work for them.

Could they really trust him though, if they did hire him?! He could easily just deliberately leave exploits and so on.

Don't have him developing much software , have him trying to find ways of getting around protection , but instead of releasing this info to anybody he suggests ways of fixing it. With him working on tighting up security its obviously going to make it much much harder for someone else to come in and fill his shoes! Pay him on a no results, no money basis. I find it hard to believe that he wouldn't go working for them if the money was right.

So thats why Dvd shrink ceased to exist!

I hope that never happens. His coding experience with PSP is unsurpassed. All the CFW have gotten better over the last 2 years.
Auto-Updating, Time-Machine (1.50FW) for Slim, POPSloader, etc..
