A blast from the past I know, but I was just sitting here thinking about this nice catalogue from a French company called Euro CB. I used to get it every year. Used to buy tons of stuff from it years ago through ALDEN from Rosslare. Doing a google for them turns up nothing, not even their past. Did they re-brand or go out of the market?

    hi there...

I used to love flicking through the catalogues too. I had a Euro CB Cleantone SSB set which I got through Alden....they should have renamed it to SH!T3tone. Flogged it last week after 6yrs of non-use. DX'd into Poland in 2002 from Rathnew in Wicklow on USB on it.

Was thinking of getting a small compact 40ch for going mobile. Good few Midland sets on ebay for £50-60... Thinking back, my first AM 40ch was a President Jimmy. Great lil set, which I regretted selling to part fund the Cleantone...big mistake. Ah well, I was young back then in the mid 90's & didnt know any better.

    10/4
