    Hi all,
I am new to this forum. Just a quick question, Does anyone have any good suggestions for an auction house that deals in decent quality furniture in the Dublin area? Now I'm not talking about serious antiques, Just good quality furniture? Thanks in advance....

arew you looking for good quality modern furniture ? or good antique furniture?

antique furniture is much cheaper these days ,... , if you got the house to take old furniture , then check out the prices @ the online websites.

I have a feeling you may want to look around Buckleys in sandycove/glasthule
then there is Mullens on the old shankill rd.
    Adams in blackrock
    Adams - on stephens green

cheaper basement style auctions would be town and country on the Quays,
    Herman Wilkinson in Rathmines.

every auction is different , you can get a great collection coming up in an average auction house, and likewise a bad quality selection in a "good" auction house.

the best thing to do is to buy the Times/Independant on a saturday , and in it are all the advertised furniture auctions for the forthcoming week !
take your misses and spend a day out browsing around, you may find a bargain , or maybe not, but its a fun sunday afternoon whatever happens :)

If you need any advice , then any auctioneer worth their weight in salt will be most obliging to help , out of courtesy !
