I'm insured on my own car, now i need to get a van to move some bits to my house, so theres a family van thats not in use anymore, the owner has left the country so to speak, can I just transfer the insurance over to this van for a day do the removal as I'd normally do.. or is it more complicated.

Also anyone know how much a steering rack for a peugeot partner ('01) would cost....

AFAIK, you can just transfer your insurance over to the van for the day. Ask your insurer though, only they can say for sure.;)

Can't help with the rack, i'm afraid.

Yes you can transfer your insurance to the van for the day - FBD allowed me and didnt charge me anything for it.
