I looked around on a few sites and I can't seem to find what I'm after. Basically I'm looking for a metal top rail for the G36, I believe VFC do one, also a metal front and upper body for the P90 again made by VFC but I can't find them in stock anywhere or a place that sells them. They're not even in the ASG catalogue.

And a metal cocking lever for the G36.

I've been looking for these parts for the G36 for 6 months, if you find them, let me know! As far as I can tell the only supplier of those VFC components are WGC but in most cases you need to special order them. Star do a replacement cocking lever in steel also but it's a pain to track down.

I got my cocking lever through MIA. ASG do them fairly cheap. The top rail on a RS G36C is polymer.

Really, didn't know that. The type of rail I'm looking for is the one the KSK have on their G36Ks, it's a little different to the rail on the C.

The vfc g36 rail is rather rare and hard to find, other than that you have 2 options you could go the real steel road and they run at about 150 or you could go with the http://www.airsoft-war4.com/details.php?pid=2045 made by star.

    Is the Star one steel?

I think it would be a bit odd trying to get the real steel version through customs.

The star rail is not metal, when i was looking to get hold of real steel parts myself restrictions only normally apply to parts that are needed for a firearms to function e.g triggers barrels.

No more so than the airsoft one. They both look identical more or less, and to the untrained eye they're as good as each other. I wouldn't see an issue between one and the other.

I might be wrong, god know there's precedent, but those look like the detachable sights from an MP-7 mounted on the top rail.
I'm looking at a set now.

Yep there the same as you would find on the mp7, gives a nice German ksk look.
