He struggled and struggled in the Dubai Classic but he dug deep and boy what a superb finish. He just needs a sniff of the winning line and he grabs it.

Awesome finish by Tiger... brutal finish by Els

Yeah he's looking unstoppable at the moment. Good to see McDowell up there as well. He looks as if he isn't too far off from a victory.

Only Tiger could do what he did on 18. I have a feeling this is the year he will win a major from behind. Thats if he is behind in any of them

    Great finish indeed.

Yet another major choke by Els. 17 and 18 definite birdy holes and he flunked it. That killer instinct seems to have gone.

My thoughts exactly. Super closing nine from Tiger but was disappointed with how the rest almost handed it too em in the end...

Els played sublime golf for most of the round but couldn't hole a putt... then had a miserable finish when he 'had' to perform... to be honest Tiger was "lucky" that -14 was a winning number, in his interview he mentioned that he thought he'd need to shoot a 30 for the back nine.
It's amazing when Tiger's name is up there how the rest seem to always falter

The only exception to everyone faltering was Martin Kaymer who finished 3, 3, 3, which was quite remarkable. He had a lost ball on the way in which cost him dearly on the par 5. A par here was a playoff, a birdy and the title was his.

Great back nine by Tiger but in fairness Ernie blew it on the back nine.
2 over yesterday for holes 10,11,and 12 which are easy holes,Ernie would have expected to be one under for those 3 really.
An interesting stat was underlined at a press conference after the tournament.
So Tiger was being interviewed after his win and the guy said....
"How do you explain that the gap between you and #2 Phil Mickelson is bigger than the gap between Phil and #1,000 in the World Golf Ranking?"
Tiger said, " I though Ian Poulter was #2 in the world"
    Funny .
