Never in a month of Sundays would I buy anything in PC world. It would have to be Dell.

PC World will rip you off big time!

I'd go with Dell if I were you.

PC world will be selling Dells soon, then you can have the Dell brand at PC world prices!

Watch this page for a day or two and then choose your bargain, each PC/Laptop has a standard one year warranty and cost €30 to ship

+1 Dell. Check the bargain alerts forum too, theres a good thread on Dell deals. Got myself a nice Vostro lately out of that thread.

Dell used to sell through PC world in the UK back in the early 90's
If you bought on line you got a DIMENsion
If you bought in PC world you got a PRECIsion

The PC world ones were about 300 more, but you got one year on site instead of collect and return and the first 5 letters on the badge were different.

Then PC world stopped dealing with Dell and took over the remaining warranty themselves. Lots of people rang in Dell support to be told to ring Mastercard, lots of unhappy bunnies.

Dell may also sell in Tesco's too.
Gateway used to have a store in Liffey Valley but that's a different story
