    Pro Garage €2500+

    Indy Garage €1500-€1700

You're probably better off prepping the car yourself. Then all you pay for is paint and spraying/baking. (500-600 approx)

Ah yes, but what if you don't even know what 'prepping the car yourself' means.. !

    ah

    yes

That would complicate matters somewhat. You have to wash the car very thoroughly, rub it down with sandpaper (so the new paint binds well) and then cover the windows, lamps, etc (whatever bits you don't want paint on) with newspaper bordered with masking tape.

It takes a few days, but could save you a serious bundle of money if you do it well.

Hope this isnt a stupid question, but after you have your preped, how do you get it to the garage if everything is covered up? Would you not have to have access to a transporter to tackle something like that yourself?

In relation to the main question,I know someone who got an Audi A4 sprayed by an Indy garage and it was €1100 (same colour), so that ties in with what the average is.

just uncover the windows whilst driving would be the obvious answer :)

Usually you would add the masking tape etc when you get there.

The main thing is not to cover the windscreen before you drive there! :D

Spend as much as you can afford on getting the best quality job done. I wouldn't like to see what you would get for under €1000.
