Setting up Outlook Mail (Vista)

    Having problems setting up mail account for Outlook Mail. Have used the wizard to do this, however, receive the following response when trying to recieve / send email. Any ideas?

    Account: 'mail1.eircom.net ', Server: 'mail1.eircom.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR authorization first', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

    Who is your e-mail address with? Eircom, Iol ? and also who is your broadband service with ?

    Make sure you have set pop3 Incoming mail as: mail1.eircom.net and SMTP: outgoing to mail1.eircom.net.

    Select Tools > accounts > mail tab > properties on the right side > servers tab. Also dont tick the option this server requires authentication, Select the connection tab and make sure you have select LAN connection.
