I'm about to graduate in the next few months. I will then have a degree in my chosen field. I love what i do (most of the time) and I think that i am very good at it too. However now that it's coming to the end of college, i'm have begun trying to get my head around if i made the right choice or not. I have been thinking that i'd like to become a Gardai or a paramedic..... these choices are a total change from my chosen career field and i'm not sure even if i'd be as good at them that i am at what i do now. I'm confused. Should I just go with what i have studied for four years or totally change my career opportunities... If i was to continue the the money issue may become a porblem. I know this is just me ranting on, but what are your opinions?????

He/She is cheating on you. He/She probably has their cock in someone else/has a cock in them right now. Dump/kill him/her.

    Choose as appropriate.

You probably picked the wrong forum to ask a serious question, WildIrishRose. :) Try one of the forums under the Edu category.

Ehhh, "After Hours" would not really be the appropriate forum for this question. This would seem to be quite a serious question that you are looking for real help and advice with. AH is the precise opposite of a serious forum, and in fact is largely here for piss-taking.

If you want real answers, possibly try Personal Issues, although I'm not sure if that's entirely appropriate either. However if it's not, the mods there will point you in the right direction.

Not that the mods here wouldn't, just PI is more heavily moderated so you might get a quicker response :)

Have a chat with your college careers advisor.

Well, you have your degree in your field sorted, so you can look at it two ways really. On the one hand, you can go and try the other jobs, see how you get on with them, and you can always go back to this anyway if you feel like it, as you have the qualification. On the other hand, you could always just put the head down and bull on in this field, having come this far already. Neither answer is necessarily better, but it's down to how you feel and how ready to just up and do something new and unprepared you are.

its probably going to be easier to find a job in your chosen field, so why not take one of them, see how you like it and if you do want a change, at least your in a job and can take your time finding a new career.
