W.I.T PokerSoc is proud to present the W.I.T Bodog Poker Open 2008 which will take place in the Tower Hotel Waterford on April 10th Start Time T.B.C
The Entry fee is to be finalised but we are looking at between €40-€60 Total entry with Bodog adding $5000 to the prizepool .
Details:
1. Who is running the event - Big Slick Events + W.I.T Poker Society
2. The purpose of the event: Intervarsity
3. Date and Location of event: Thurs April 10th 2008
4. Registration and Start time of event: TBC
5. Any prerequisites: All players Welcome
6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number: 150 tickets: Pre-Registeror Pay on the Day if tickets remaining.
7. Type of Tournament: No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Freezeout.
8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc. €40-€60 .
10. % of entry fee going into Prize fund: 100%
11. Any guaranteed prize pool: No
13. Starting Chips: 10,000
15. Blind levels: 25 mins All levels Included

We at WIT are extremely proud to be bringing this tournament to fruition. We've worked very closely with Bodog and BigSlick since September to make sure that this tournament will be the best it can be with there being exceptional value being offered and a very playable structure in place. The tournament is open to everyone meaning you DO NOT have to be a student to play!
There's still a few details to iron out, but we hope to be able to provide more details about prizemoney, registration methods, online satellites and hotel rates within the coming days.
