Anyone know of a few popular employers in the mechanical and electronic industry preferably in Ireland but also abroad? intel etc...

Also anyone know anything about the mechatronics course in DCU? Is it as well paid and respected a qualification as any other?

They are really just a few of what is out there. Check out www.gradireland.com and you can look at graduate positions and what companys are employing.

had a look at the mechatronics course before studying mechanical and there is more scope out there with mechanical/elecrical/civil.

Siemens would be another big employer.

Ericsson would be a major employers for Communications Electronics Engineers.
