Hi all, as the title says I'm looking at changing my bike in about two months. Current I'm on a KLE500 got it in Oct 04 it is now just a tad shy of 90,000KM. I can't fault this bike and hope it will last as a spare.

However, I have decided not to go for a new bike this time as my weekly commute is 600km min. Hence, I'm thinking of getting a 2nd hand import, thinking of a Afician Twin or a DR650. Condidering the distance I do, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestion for other bikes? Cheers.

How about DL-650? I.e. the V-Strom. Might be better than the others for what I assume is mostly road riding?

Thats high milage. V-strom would be my choice due to the engine. If you eat chains I'd look into shaft drive too. Older honda deau or BMW etc.

Cheers for the advice I check it out, I'm not planning on buying for a month or two so just researching at the moment. My communte was higher I managed to cut it from 1000k a week, but even then its still a lot so I want to take my time and get something I'm happy with.
