I got my assessment for Tax for 2006 yesterday and at the bottom was a total for €1425. When I looked at the detail of the bill I noticed they didnt apply my PAYE credit.

I rang the office today and spoke to a girl to whom i explained what happened . Her response was "O yeah,so they have...they must have forgot,Iv amended that for you now"!!!

Forgotton something as basic as a PAYE credit!!??!!
anyway..I told the story to a couple of people who replied that they wouldnt have even questioned it...they would have just payed the money.

I wonder how many people have done this before, and if I had paid it,would Revenue have found out that I overpaid Income Tax?

Whats this got to do with Humanities?

Companies do make mistake's from time to time, but 99% rectify those mistake as soon as they become aware of them.
