Recording from sky + to DVD recorder

    Hi There,
    I got a present of a wharfdale DVD recorder for Christmas..good so far...I want to record programmes that I have on the hard disc of my sky + box to dvd. The way I have it set up at the moment I need to watch the play back to record it to dvd, ie I cannot watch something else while it is recording. Is there a way around this

    No, you can either record to DVD while you are watching a playback or use the copy facility on the sky+ box, there's not much difference between the two, but either way you cannot watch any other recording or tv channel while you are copying to DVD, set them to copy while you head off to bed.

    is it possible to copy material recorded on sky+ to a pc??
